"While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about."
"Tell me and I'll forget; show me and I may remember; involve me and I'll understand."
~ Chinese Proverb
"The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it from you."
As stated in our philosophy, it is our goal at Immanuel Lutheran Preschool and Childcare to encourage each child to develop spiritually, emotionally, academically and physically to their God-given potential. In order for each child to develop to their full potential, we use many different strategies in our classrooms. We understand that each child is unique and learn at different paces through numerous different learning styles. We believe in a “hands-on, minds-on” approach and try to get the children involved in learning so that they retain the material better. This approach also makes learning fun and results in the kids wanting to learn. We want the children to develop a love of learning early that way they succeed in years to come. We have developed some learning “goals” for each classroom in order to guide the children’s learning and development. You can view these learning goals by clicking the link below. Please remember that these goals are merely just a guide in your child’s development. Each child will learn at their own time and at their own pace.
